Myself and Nick have just booked ourselves onto a trackday at Cadwell Park this Sunday. A mere £99 which is an absolute bargain. (http://www.javelintrackdays.co.uk/trackday/)

It's the second time we have been to Cadwell Park, and after my last outing I'm absolutely dying to get back out there !

Just a quick thread to tip people off incase anyone else is itching to do one at the moment.

We will be going up on Saturday evening and staying at the Royal Oak Inn (http://www.royaloaksplash.co.uk/accommodation/) which is only £80 for a twin room and has a great selection of ales on tap !

Post in here if your already going/end up booking :)

Cheers

Ah bum! I've always wanted to do Cadwell but I've got other plans unfortunately :(.

Enjoy yourselves, and remember to put lots of tape in your camera this time Gareth :p

Hrm, Open Pit-lane, but no mention of what the car limit will be?

Every single open pit lane I've done operated this way, you get to x number of cars out on the track and then queue to get on. I've never queued more than a couple of minutes, even at Bedfor when you have hundred of people there, or so it seems.

I'd imagine Cadwell will be 25-30 cars at any one time, plenty of space :)

We are going to do a trackday in April, yes April, April, April.

Oh wait, February and in 4 days time.... :p:rolleyes:

Anglesey 6th of August for £75? :D

I understand how an open pitlane works, but without knowing the track limit, and the day limit, I've no way of figuring out whether its worth it.

If there are 100 cars there, 25 on track and 15 minute sessions, you're waiting 45 minutes a time :/

I'll do it if it includes insurance, tyres, brakes, and clutch replacements for free :p

I actually dont get this... I've done 7 trackdays and my only issue has been I had a puncture last time I went to Cadwell, and I needed to get new brakes after a day at Bedford (100% my fault for pushing too hard for too long)

I havn't ever seena nyone book tyres brakes and clutch in 1 go... however I did see an M6 get towed off after less than an hour with SMG gearbox failure once :o:D
