Just got in from walking the dog to find that while my son was playing ball in the house with his mate his knocked my asus mk241 monitor off the table and now the screens broken. :mad:

THINK AM GOING TO CRY

. Is there anywhere that sells a good 24'' 1920/1200 monitor or can i get hold of the same one somewhere.......

not sure, you need to make sure you have accidental damage included and on my policy theres a £50 excess
might be worth a phone call, also if you are insured it should be new for old

Not familiar with the Asus Mk241, but I have got two of these today after sending back my Dell U2410. So far so good.

Also the fact it isn't 16:10 was bothering me. Now that I've used 16:9 for a day or so I can say I'm fairly happy with it! Movies etc all show without borders, so it's pretty good

why not? accident insurance covering the cost of an accident, why pay for insurance if its not used when needed?

2 of these here also... 16:9 is a bit narrow sub 1920x res but at 2048x1152 you have enough vertical pixels for it to not matter. They are pretty decent monitors as TN go - good colors, sharp and lovin the res - makes programming a breeze being able to open up so many pages side by side at fullsize.

thats not a 1920/1200. plus the asus was loads better
Brightness: 250cd/m²..... mine was 450
- Response Time: 5ms.... mine was 2ms
and it has no hdmi

How on earth is 450 a good thing? That's too bright! Look at even £400 monitors and they're only 400.
