If you guys are desperate for your BFBC2 fix then you could try this out in the meantime. It's only a small download.

Just got my Beta key 2day and so did a friend, now we both cant connect to EA...... was fine yesturday when i made the account, Typical lol. Been itchin to try it out and now they have downtime the day we get the key Zzzz

When are the servers back up?

I coulda sworn it read 'Maintainance between 10.00 - 13.00 GMT' the other day :confused:

They extended maintenance to 5pm and there hasn't been an update since, just that they're 'ongoing'.

UPDATE: The maintenance has been restarted due to issues on restarting the service under load. The EA servers will be down for another 75 minutes. In which time we are working on a new server and client to be released for when the servers come back online.
