looks a bit like a smash TV type game.

Can any vouch for it being any decent ? The meta scores are pretty medicore

wasn't this meant to be based on letting console gamers play pc people?

It bombed horribly so they nerfed pc and it bombed even more iirc.

That was Shadowrun.

ShadowGROUNDS is friggin awesome.

An X-Com/UFO type game if you will?

Just played the demo of Shadowgrounds.
It's alright, if you don't expect too much from it. The voice acting is awful, and the story is almost straight out of a typical Alien-esque film.
The gameplay itself isn't too bad. I especially like the top-down approach, which I think suits it rather well.

It's nothing too special, but at this price it might be worth a go :)

It's a fun game and good value at that price but don't be fooled by the 'co-op' label... it's co-op on the same PC, using different sets of keys!

I'm such a sucker for deals like this. There's a fair chance I won't play this for very long, what with the full oblivion purchase I've embarked upon recently, and ME2 & FFXIII on the way when I've got the time, but I just can't drop the chance to add games to my Steam collection - not at that price.

I think these games are the best I've played in ages. They are so much fun. I’ve finished the first one and am probably about half way through the second at the moment.

I would easily recommend both of them at full price, but at 75% off, it would be criminal not to bother!

The demo was great, but the lack of online co-op really put me off. It's inexcusable to not have that feature in a new game. I could play it on my own but would get bored very quickly :( but with a few mates on Mumble, it could be brilliant banter... pity!

[edit] Do you guys know of a similar game but with online co-op?!

Cheers,

Su
