Supposed to be a client update (RC3). No sign of it though, one of the DICE employees said that they will post a change log once everything is up and running. No sign of anything yet.

With the full retail just 13 days away, what's the point in them releasing another version update for the beta? Surely they wouldn't have time to implement it into the final game. Or do they take what's learnt from this and then bundle it into some patch later on?

Oh and nothing is updating for me. Still the same old version, just now I get kicked from the game after 5 seconds. Nice.

They used an older version for the PC beta for the sake of stability, most of the stuff PC gamers have spent the last month pointlessly whining about was already fixed before any of them started playing. So even with this upcoming patch it probably still isn't near where the retail version is.

EA servers are coming online now, please don't swamp the connections
You will notice a lack of game servers too, we are bringing these up gradually to avoid overloading.

The client wasn't tested in time today so we will look to release that tomorrow.

Was to test the servers etc under the kind of usage they should expect come release. Which they've made a lot of improvements to and patched several times, they just haven't been fixing the stuff people mistakenly thinking this was a 1 month mp-demo have been whinging about.
