I was having a flick through the latest issue of a well known 'performance hardware' magazine and on page 38 they had a review of an OcUK prebuilt system (cant remember the system name, but it came in at £1400).

Anyway, I noticed on the pic they had of the inside of the case (awesome cable tidying btw) that the HDD were mounted at angles (2 x 1tb sea gates).

I can't find an image of it, but if anyone has the mag then they can check out the pic.

Why are they mounted at angles? Is it just the case or does it lead to better cooling.........

The magazine removed them and didn't put them back in the correct position.

The review commented that the "OcUK Ultima Nemesis was beautifully built with high-end kit and exemplary cable management".

thats good news for you then spie.

a good review from a good pc mag is always a welcome sight.

any links on this review please ?

Hi Schizo.

You will have to go to your local news agents to buy Custom PC to view it. Were not allowed to put it up online and Custom PC dont put reviews even on their own website either sorry.

Fair point. Maybe I should spend less time looking at the pictures and read the articles :p

Seriously though, the article gave high praise which by the sounds of it was duly deserved. So kudos to everyone at OcUK :)

As echo'd by Spie I recently bought a high end gaming machine from OcUK and the build and cable management was outstanding!

Check the build thread here.

As you can see Rich did an amazing job, the machine is very quiet considering how many case fans it has.

TC.
