If you don't want to host it on public servers I can host for you on my domain temporarily should you wish?

cheers for the option of hosting an entry guys :)

Looking into getting a domain sorted out in the near future but reading up on stuff just now

Have to show off dont you Martin :)

Brillent shot, I'm intrigued, is it one shot or a combination of two?

either way excellent idea and execution, great twist on the shot.

Thanks famas :)

Actually it's just the one shot, so no photoshop trickery here. Hardly any processing bar cloning out some dirty marks. A water drop will drop through a bubble without bursting it. I used a pipette and dropped water onto a bubble which was on a tray. You can make the bubbles with straw and some fairy liquid.

Thanks for your help with the flashlight advice. In the end I went with teh Yongnuo flashgun and a set of wireless triggers. I was sold with the Nissin one but what put me off was that using Commander mode the cameras on board flash will have to trigger the slaves. Whilst it usually does not come out in shot it does fire a series of pulses first which if I was using for a portrait could be distracting. The thing I don't understand is that the flash I bought has a recharge speed of around 5 seconds, except I can fire the flash off in quick succession a couple of times and even then it only seems to take about 2 seconds. Having said that I was not using it on full power? Anyway cheers again.

very cool, excellent shot.

yeah thats the only down side to commander mode, it normally doesn't show in picture but like you say could get distracting.
Your set ups working well so its all good :)

Thanks.

Really pleased with it actually; it cost me under £75 all in. The wireless triggers are amazing too; seem to work every time. (Yongnuo RF-602 triggers and Yongnuo Speedlight YN465)

Haven't got anything to enter this month so far. TBH just like Mr. Squirrel I've only picked up the camera during my holiday. :(
