not bad, two things I would change are, samsung F3 500gb, and ocz 600w modxstream psu.

That should then be 600 dead on almost.
 
For 600 quid you can get something like this.The mobo has xfire support at x8-x8 in case you wanna go for another HD5770.The PhII 955 is the best gaming CPU for it price and can easily beat a Core i7 920 in 7 out of 10 games.Also I suggest you get the indicated OCZ ram because of the lower timings which PhIIs really like.

Just because you had a problem with the PSU it doesn't mean that anyone else will also suffer the same fate.I had problems with a 100 quid Corsair PSU that died after 2 weeks of usage so does that make Corsair a bad PSU maker?No.OCZ PSUs are very reliable,efficient and the best in their price range.
+1 to for the RAM change.

Not necessarily, no. But the fact that i know somebody else who had one blow up and take their entire computer with it and two others who have had serious problems kinda makes it hard for me to recommend the brand.
