Ok, its a choice between the samsung 32 inch HD ready tv for £310 or the Toshiba 32 inch 1080p for £350.. Which one would be best? And would i notice the difference ebtween the 1080p? Cheers

What will you be using it for (i.e. what sources) ?

The Samsung being only HD Ready is probably on 720p vs. the Toshiba's 1080p ... but if you want to connect a HTPC to it over HDMI then I've heard about more people having issues doing this with Toshiba sets than Samsung ones.

Got my boys a Tosh 32in Regza for their room.Xbox and dvd use only.Bought the cheaper one (not 1080p) and it looks awesome.Colour repro and resolution are very good with enough options to tweak the display to your personal taste.

Don't bother with the 1080p..my friend has the 32in Regza 1080p and the picture quality on Xbox is indistinguishable from ours (to my layman's eyes anyway) and you'll save a fair amount.

I have a Toshiba 720p LCD, and the picture is great, so i imagine the 1080p one would be very good aswell. To be honest i cant really tell the difference between 720p and 1080p. I would say if you have £40 to spare go for the 1080p Toshiba but otherwise i would go for a 720p Toshiba / Samsung.

I've got a 32inch 1080p Toshiba Regza, it's fantastic. Use it as my monitor and have had no problems, definitely recommend it.
