What brought you to OcUK?

A friend must have been around 1998 or 1999 when he showed me at school.

Didn't join the forums till years later, I never knew of them for a few years, then I started to lurk and eventually signed up in 05.

The guy that told me about OcUK won't touch this place anymore..

I got referred by an old friend to buy from here, prices always seemed just that bit cheaper ended up finding the forum :D

followed a friend here, forum member WAY before I made any purchases from the shop.

or.. my 'fly' answer;

"My web browser"

I was introduced by a work mate and took enterest when he kept randomly burst out laughing. That and playing L4D/2 with the FPS gaming group on here.

Joined in early 2001 after someone posted about it on the now defunct theoverclockingstore website. Been on here almost everyday since. Not that my post count would tell you. i think My first post was about a set of videologic Speakers.

Been here a little while now, like most people I came when I bought and built my first PC made from new components :)

Was after some advice overclocking an Athlon Thunderbird to 1.4Ghz if anybody remembers them?

A few years later I stopped bothering so much with overclocking and computers in general for a year or so. I lost my original login/account details and had moved email addresses at least twice so had to sign up again when I was building a new system at the beginning of 2005. I can't even remember my original username now.

I was the first person through Millennium Computers doors (Overclockers) and used to go in the shop about 3 times a week at least.
I can't remember when exactly but I had a question that Pete (former owner) couldn't really answer and he said go on the forums and ask.
I went on the forums, used a competitors name and got suspended within about 3 posts.
After 2 days I asked the same question again and got suspended for a week :)

I wonder if that is still on your "file" :p

I was into pc's when I was young and always wanted to have a nice one, but could never afford it, stuck with the early 90's rot box my rents bought second hand, so when I got my first job that paid more than £20 a week I decided to build a pc.
After googling, this place came up, so I learnt about it all here, found it's a decent community too.

Sold my pc after a while and bought a laptop though, needed portability. Stayed here for GD and Motors, and the odd flick about other bits of forum, pretty much :D

Came here to get help with a system build (what components would work together).

Stupidly broke the rules about as quickly as possible with several links to competitors asking if the components would work together. Thankfully they let me stick around. :p

A mate of mine worked in a shop which used OCUK. The shop closed some years later so I started getting my components directly from here.

I bought my first computer parts from here about 5-6 years ago then signed up to the forum shortly after.

I forgot my Username and password and then just lost interest in overclocking and pc's in general until i built myself a new rig so decided to come back again :D
