It's a Jet Li film which is a very similar style to the older Jackie Chan films. Set in the olden days in China with a similar kind of humour used in Jackie Chan films. Pretty good :D

One armed boxer part 2, many different styles and its funny.
invincible armour, has a humorous testicle crushing scene with eggs.
shaolin chamber of death, jackie chan
thundering mantis.
fatal flying guillotine, the lampshade with blades in it used to decapitate (seen in one armed boxer too)

also two classics are zu warriors from the magic mountain and mr vampire

Ah, thundering mantis is an excellent film.

Mr Vampire :)

What a classic :)

This is my favourite genre of film, got loads. I recommend you watch

Mr Vampire
Warriors Two
The Prodigal Son
Eastern Condors
Wheels on Meals
Winners and Sinners
Mr Vampire
Drunken Master
Snake in the Eagle Shadow
All Bruce Lee films

Anything with Sammo Hung, Jackie Chang, Yuen Biao, Lam Ching Ying, Yuen Wah = win.

Ip Man was a good film. Not normally one for subtitles but i was glued to that one :D

Fearless & Unleashed are two more brilliant films by Jet Li. Very different styles, but none the less brilliant.

Kiss of The Dragon is the best Western-released Jet Li movie.

I have not watched all his previous stuff, but Fist of Legend and Once Upon a Time In China are also excellent. Looking forward to watching Once Upon a Time In China 2 (already mentioned in this thread).

Donnie Yen's stuff is also good - Iron Monkey, Flashpoint, Dragon Tiger Gate for example (already mentioned in this thread). Although Dragon Tiger Gate is more teen-oriented.

Working my way up the Jackie Chan movies at the moment. Drunken Master is great, and so is Battle Creek Brawl. Also liked Armor of God and Project A, but not as much as the other two.

Yeah funny enough, the best Western made movies for Jet Li for happen to be Kiss of the Dragon and Danny the Dog/Unleashed (Mainly co-European productions). All the American made ones seem to be really crap.

The Prodigal Son, is one of my favouites of the old school movies just because sammo hung is so funny in it. Its pure comedy..
this is also mentioned by panthro and was the star film when bbc2 did kung fu weekend all them years ago.

+1 on kung fu hustle, a very good film.
Also recommend crouching tiger hidden dragon. First subtitiled film I saw in the cinema and probally one of the best films of that year as well...
