I'm liking the fact there is a friends list - almost 360 esque
still liking performance of new patch, but black blocks are annoying for first 40 seconds, then go - just downloaded Cat 10.2 so will give those a whirle

Its not just you/ ports, this happens to me also. Its wierd sometimes i can play for ages without probs but sometimes it happens every game. Im pretty sure its not a client side problem but server side ie. DICE need to get their lala in gear.
Anyone have any fixes/ things to try which may resolve "lost connection to server" errors?
The game itself is now stable for me since updating to ati 10.2 drivers
I'm plagued by the disconnects myself, huuuge thread on it now on the BC2 forums -- they posted a few weeks ago to say they're working on it but its "tricky" then recently to ask for any Wireshark logs that would help them.
The first night of beta I played for 4-5 hours straight without one DC though, started the night after adding to that the countless other games I play fine, including BF2 / BF2142 I'm certainly not thinking its anything to do with my router / connection / system.
Sounds also like since this last patch a whole bunch of people who previously didn't have it now do, so hopefully that will aid them identify the root of it.

Talking of intelligence when you can't even spell someones screen name right who you just quoted, I laugh in your general direction.
We already tried to come to a conclusion before, but you kept banging on, time and time and time again, a sign of intelligence may be also knowing when to shut up, which you don't have.
You're 1 of these typical people who thinks anyone but yourself is wrong, you have no proof of anything, nor do I, nor does anyone else, each thing without proof is simply opinion, and you're basically going on and on about someones opinion that differs to you, which is what makes you so pathetic, if you had solid proof then it would be different, same with myself, I gave my reasons/proof for my argument.
You could have just said "Yeah, I can see what you mean by someone who may not watch many pro players it can look dodgy, but I still think he isn't cheating" and it would have been sorted the first time round and everyone would still be on good terms, all you did though is call people "noobs" (lol) in an attempt to justify your argument and bang endlessly on bringing up the same thing in an attempt to get the last word about it on the last 2 just being total fails, 1 of which you claimed the video to be the same guy (Which it wasn't) and the last where you claimed just because 1 other person says he isn't cheating, he isn't, why cant you just accept people won't change their opinion about the video? I already told you I won't and to let it go before, shame you just couldn't.

Nah you just choose the game you own, and then put your CD-key in and it adds it to 1 of your accounts, I think at rank 1 it gives you the unlock, only need 1 previous bf title.

Sign up for heroes and you're bound to have a 2142/1942/2/BC/MC/1943/Vietnam key lying around somewhere!
No, just add the accounts of the games that you have played and they'll become highlighted. I'm fairly sure what rewards you get are based on what rank the accounts in each game are.
Someone has stolen my BF1942 key, most displeasing! It says it's already been used. However i have managed to get my BF2, Armoured Fury and BF2142 accounts registered.
Still haven't got access to the beta of this
Keep trying. Many people (myself included) had that message at first, but the site eventually accepted it after a few attempts.
Epic! Thanks for that, it worked on my 5th attempt. Rank 3 now, does that mean i get anything more than a rank 1 person or do i just get to gloat about my oversized epeen?
