As far as the sync is concerned just tell your converter software to drop the converted file into one of your watched directories (set up in the Zune Software on your PC) and it will automatically sync to your Zune.

I haven't had any problems with other programmes, most of the issues tend to be things that are US only. Should be plain sailing!

Why don't we have a "rate" system, you've helped me a massive amount with my Zune.

What converting software do you use? My main issue is I don't "really" install codecs I just use KMPlayer which works out the box, I think quite a few converts want codecs to be installed.

Apart from what's on market place are there any apps?games I can download?

I love Total Video Converter - but it is paid for software... ... ... What size is the Drive on your Zune HD? I know the screen doesn't display true 'HD' but the player can output at 720p so the size of file you want depends on whether you want to use it to watch videos, or as a portable media player to plug into other peoples' screens. As long as you rip to wmv you shouldn't need any codecs.

There are loads of apps/games etc for the Zune - I'll have a little dig about and see if I can find any good sites - the forum I pointed you to is an excellent resource, you might also want to check out Zune Boards - very helpful as well!

The Zagg Shield is the invisible shield, but under a new name, a great bit of kit it is as well.

Thought it might be - got several for various bits of my kit (Zune 120, HTC, NC10) - they really are brilliant, but I found it took a few goes before I really learned how to do it properly - the demo video is very well done - guess I should have watched it before trying it myself! (RTFM!)
