Is it really a bumper off job to change a headlight bulb in a facelift Corsa C? Surely not? This is beyond retarded?

Anyone know a better way?

ive done both corsa c and astra through the bonnet, i work in halfords and fit bulbs on a regular basis, its not easy but can be done.

IIRC I had a friend who owned a Renault Modus and this was the case when one of his headlight bulbs needed changing too....

Given the only sort of people who'd drive a Corsa C are people who dont really know much about cars and/or girls, why on earth would you engineer a car for a market like this which requires such a ridiculous faff to change a BULB?!

I can change any bulb on my car in less than 3 minutes!

Yes taking front bumper off is crazy, but then again, to change a bulb in my mondeo the front grill has to come off.

Sounds like EXACTLY the reason why they made it like they did. More likely to get a woman/mechanically challenged **** taking their car to a main dealer for a bulb, and what better way to reward them by charging them an hour's labour.

*raises eyebrow*

Mk3? I've changed bulbs in mine before - the only slightly fiddly bulbs on mine are the ST style foglights

No it's not a bumper off job, it just takes really small hands to manage to change a bulb...

However it is a bumper off job to change the headlights :o

Yes Fox, but your car was built and designed by teutonically efficient individuals in the Fatherland.

Corsa C's are built in Luton and made out of Sticklebricks, Technical Lego and Blue Tack. :p

mk 3 mondeo you should be taking the grille off, removing the 2 pins on the headlight and sliding it out, correct?

slightly off topic... my rear washer was blocked on my 03 polo, which has caused the pipe to come off at the reservoir. I had a quick peek yesterday and my god it looks a nightmare, its somewhere between the bumper, inner wing and wheel arch cowling... I have no idea where to start.

What a pain...
