Yep, already been pointed out :) I dont watch/follow the show and was originally told differently so never mind :)
In that light it's closer to the music video for the Tales of Vesperia theme track.

Yeah sorry, but fav screenshots

Gundam Seed atm. Didnt think id like it cos i hate mecha stuff generally cept zoids which is a bit like mechas.

Found out its got space battles, good to get into characters tho kinda corny some and the animation isnt too bad.

Surely you've at least heard what "Gundam" is right? :p

Gundam and also Macross are basically the two most famous mecha franchises.

And yeah Zoids is part of the mecha genre.

Heard of gundam before i just avoided it as thought it was anoter boring mecha series. One where u get ppl forming up or perhaps having changes that drag on and are on every 10 mins which are big turn offs for me with mecha style anime.

You must have been watching too many of the "Super Robot" type shows then.

Gundam for the majority of the time (And even Macross) is in the "Real Robot" genre, basing more upon realistic science & technology, the controversies of war, and Man vs Space.

To be fair I had the same impression of the Gundam franchise as SkeeterUK prior to seeing any of it. Having watched Gundam 00 (Season 1) the other day that impression has been corrected and I will be trying Gundam SEED next when the cheap re-release comes out.

Pfft, not a christian, let alone Catholic, so I'm definately not going to be speaking to the Pope :p
Edit:
Besides the pope would already disown me for my favourite show being one about a merchant and pagan god, which villifies the church at multiple points :p

I've been flicking through the Art of Ponyo book this afternoon .... really nice, high quality book (and weighs a ton)

Book basically takes you through the entire film scene by scene and comments on the artwork used and shows lots of the concept art. It also has the English script too.

Yeah think of it this way, like America has Star Wars and Star Trek, Japan has Gundam and Macross.

Except Gundam gets a proper reboot, rather than the Director deciding he want's to make major changes to the existing version every few years ;)

I've actually seen a fair bit of it now (seed but not destiny, all of victory, 00, zz and a couple of others), and it can be very good, if a little samey at times, but each series is different enough that it's worth watching.

Currently up to episode 12 of Clannad After Story now, and really liking it :)
I noticed a nod to Kanon earlier, where Sanae had some special jam to go on her bread, I assume Akiko was the source of that given the effect that the combo had was considerably worse than the one Sanae's bread normally has ;)

Well not a proper reboot literately especially in regards to the original universe, but yeah there is always more new alternate universes using the same themes and traditions but executed in a different way, kind of like how Final Fantasy videogames are in particular with each installment. It's just a way to carry on the franchise and in Bandai's case, moar money making model kits.

The original Universal Century is still ongoing in form of Mangas and Novels, and the new upcoming Gundam Unicorn OVA based on the same novel is a nice long awaited treat for old fans of this era.

Sanae + Akiko = lethal MILF combo. Awesome tag team that could be made for one of those many 2D doujin fighting games featuring Key game characters. :D

lol :D ... the series is just excellent ...

(I should point out that, if I remember correctly, the very last two episodes on Pt2 are really the wrong way round ... one is a recap episodes of the entire story and the other is an alternate universe story (like the Tomoyo one on the last disk of season 1))

I'm guessing it is either the Nagisa making a new friend by hilarious accident, or is it the Kyou arc special episode?

They have the alternative Kyou arc prior to the recap when really it should be afterwards as it's not part of the main story.

I'm not at home at the moment so I can't remember where the Nagisa prequel episode comes. The order it should be really is:

Recap
Prequel
Alternative

(seeing as the recap doesn't cover the prequel but does cover both Clannad and Clannad AS and the prequel is set before Clannad).

edit:
Just a note, Princess Mononoke is on Fillm4 at 13:00 today (after they had Whisper of the Heart on yesterday).

Completely offtopic, but anyone who likes guitars and the original Spice and Wolf theme may like this. I was given a guitar instrumental of the original theme, so with a bit of tweaking to various sections of the tracks, some panning etc I've put together a blended version of the original, please enjoy Tabi no Tochuu (Guitar Edit).

Unfortunately I dont know who wrote the original instrumental, as my source didnt tell me,and I cant read the Japanese author tag on the mp3 I was given.
Sorry if the guitar is a little too quiet for you, the original version I did was a little more prominent, but a few people I showed it to thought the vocals deserved higher prominence from the original version so this mix was born.

Hope somebody enjoys this :)
