I'm pretty sure my brother got thrown around the room one extra time at one point but other than that my two tries and his were almost identical. For a game with various endings it'd be a lot more fun if the what you did had the combat change more. Not saying it's too bad though as it's still different and I felt quite sorry for the detective when he got beat up and staggered off. Shows they've got the emotional side right. I'd give it at least and 8/10 and looking at 9. I'm interested in Faranheit because of it now.
 
I only saw this yesterday when I was having a look around, seeing whats coming out in the next couple of weeks and so on.

I downloaded the demo and I was amazed, I had to play it through a few times to take it all in, it looks and feels fantastic, I just can't wait to get my hands on it.

It looks graphically stunning and has a great audio track as well and nice atmospheric sound effects, this has certainly been my surprise find of the year so far!

Ive got a feeling im going to do at least one play through where i fail every QTE i can on, to see if i can kill all the characters off.
 
This looks awesome, just played the demo after finally getting my PS3 to connect to the internet.

Cant decide whether to get this or Uncharted 2, played both demos and enjoyed both. really in the mood for a good adventure game and both seem to fit the bill.
 
Get Uncharted 2 since that is definitely excellent, then you could pick up Heavy Rain when it's a bit cheaper down the road. Even the first Uncharted if you haven't played that yet is excellent. I reckon I'm going to pick up Heavy Rain on release, I liked the demo but I can see how it might be a love/hate kind of game. All depends on what price it goes for on the high street or supermarkets because I don't fancy paying £35+.

yeah uncharted 2 for sure if you have not played it ,that game is awsome and more of an adventure game.
 
Does anyone know how HMV are for pre-orders? I've pre-ordered the special edition and wondered if I was going to get it Thursday or Friday :D

(I'm assuming I'm okay saying HMV? Delete if not :))

I got my AvP HE from HMV and it posted on the Thursday and arrived Friday morning, so not early like Play and Game have done in the past but still on time which is the worst you can ask of really :)

I've also got the SE pre ordered with HMV

Just downloaded the demo, holy crap @ graphics. Some of the best I've seen on PS3. It's a lot of fun aswell. Will be buying this on Friday for sure.

EDIT : Scratch that, these are the best gfx I've ever seen on the ps3 and the animation is incredible. Wow.

Just finished the demo, definitely got a farenheit feel to it loved farenheit but it was so underrated, looks like they're pushing this one hard though which it looks like it deserves.

Will also be definitely picking this up on friday the exclusive special edition has Episode 1 of the Heavy Rain Chronicles - The 'Taxidermist' scene on code wonder if it will be shareable hope so a friend has pre ordered it :)
