I've got an E8400, 4GB DDR2 800Mhz Ram and a 9800GT and I wanted to switch them to a smaller form factor to make it easier to carry the PC about.

What would be the best motherboard, case and PSU to stick all the above bits in? I was thinking of Mini ITX or Micro ATX, I remember seeing a nice case from Silerstone, my main concern is the size of my chosen components and a PSU powerful enough to run the above.

Cheers in advance for suggestions. :)

I would look at the Silverstone SG05:

I would also look at the Zotac GF9300-I-E mini ITX motherboard too. Make sure that you get the latest GF9300-I-E as it has more SATA ports and undervolting ability when compared to earlier versions IIRC.

Thanks, the Sugo was the one I was looking at, OcUK only have 1 left in stock at the moment but I can always wait for more to come in.

I'll take a look at that Motherboard, OcUK don't seem to have it so I'd probably have to get that from somewhere else. What about PSU's? Will any PSU fit the Sugo as I have a 1000W that I can use but it's just a case of whether it would fit, which I doubt it would. Also, are there any other Mini ITX boards that have a 16X PCI-e slot? The main purpose of the machine will be for games so it's important that it has that slot.

I'm thinking that 400W would be plenty to run that CPU and GPU?

Cheers.

re: mini-ITX and x16 PCI-E slots.

Zotac do a number of mini-itx boards with x16 slots. OC don't sell them so you'll need to look elsewhere though.

I don't believe that the SUGO supports ATX PSUs
