My Samsung Tocco Ultra got wet accidentally and stopped working. I put a claim in and sent off the broken phone over 4 weeks ago, but only received the replacement phone today. Since that time I've already gone and bought a new phone!

Is it OK to sell the phone they've sent on ebay?

Cheers.

Yes,

That's shocking turnaround... Do you pay for insurance?

With orange, they replace it for me next day

Ok, cheers for the reply!

Yeah I pay £4.99 p/m for theft, accidental/water damage, plus £50 excess. With PremierPlan.

I must admit, the delay may have been my fault slightly, as I forgot to send proof of purchase with the broken phone. But I did post it off 3 days later when they asked for it.

Jesus, Vodafone replaced mine the very same day in the shop after I'd dropped it in the toilet.......dont ask how.!

Testing out the touch screen with different appendages were we? ;)

I wish it was that funny fella.

I'm sure I'm not alone in that I like to have a read of the news while having a bit a quiet time..and as I went to sit down it slipped out of my hand and fell into the trap water.

Fortunately I dropped it in before any bombs had dropped otherwise it would have just got flushed..

Turn's out Nokia 5800 aren't waterproof.

Man, that's really cack..

Mine is £5 a month with Orange, £15 excess

Your bank most likely has some kind of account you can get which has phone insurance anyway
