It should have done because its the same developers :p

A lot of people are treating this as Fahrenheit 2 effectively. Whilst not in any way plot related to the first, it's carrying on the genre that Quantic Dream are trying to create.

Absolutely can't wait for this, had the SE on preorder from HMV for way too long now. It's been so long since I've been this excited about a game :o
 
Not heard anything from HMV yet - hoping for Thursday but I won't be too bothered if I have to wait until Friday for the SE :)

EDIT: Scrap that - I just got an email saying it's on the way :p :D Still don't reckon it will come until Thursday at the minimum though... What do you reckon?

Any bargains to be had for this game? (or does anyone here work at a supermarket and know what it's price is going to be on Friday?). Just after a cheap vanilla edition, not bothered about no SE rubbish. Still have a day or so to cancel my pre-order if the supermarkets go crazy and sell it for £29.99 etc.

I pre-ordered somewhere a while back for £33 but the cheapest I can see online at the moment is £38

Do you know for certain, or do you have a way of checking? I can't remember the last big game the Supermarkets did sub 30 quid apart from Modern Warfare 2 and that was last year.

I have a friend that works in the right department in Tesco so I'll ask him and report back :D
 
When do you reckon it will arrive? I've also got the confirmation email from HMV - they say 2-5 days - what post do they normally use?
 
anyone know where I can find this less than £38? Shops used to compete on prices, now they don't bother, hate paying through the roof for games nowadays
 
Yep my copy has been posted as well, looking forward to this especially as Aliens vs Predator turns out is a bit pants :p
 
I got my review copy through on Saturday and finished it last night. All I can say is that if you liked Fahrenheit, you will absolutely love Heavy Rain. Such a good story, and so many sections where your actions can change the outcome of the game. Can't wait to go through it again and intentionally do things differently :)
