I'm not saying it was a bad film, it wasn't. I very much enjoyed it, I went to see it 3 times.
I just think if you remove the 3D gimmick, the film was lacking. I thought District 9 looked as good as this in normal 2D, and had a much better storyline / acting
If you're deciding on the best film, you don't just go on "it made lots of money" or "it looks stunning", there is much more to films. I full expect this to clean up in regards to sound / effects awards, but as far as best film goes? no.
