Just bought a MacBook Pro!

Hi all

Just bought a brand new 17" MacBook Pro with anti-glare screen and I must say its REALLY nice ... the screen is tremendous, really impressed.

Bought it from Amazon for £1,600 which I thought was a good price, especially since the same machine costs about £1,930 at an Apple store.

I know there is a refresh coming soon but I need a machine now and at that price seemed like a good deal.

Cheers all - I'm absolutely loving this screen, so crisp and clear!

rossk26 - yeah it was expensive but this replaces a MacBook G4 which I used every day (at work) for about 6 years and is now being retired. If this lasts that long, in the longrun it will be a good investment.
