what film/book would you want them to make a game of (Just for you)

I saw a thread where everyone kept saying "play portal" and I'd never heard of it....so went to youtube and found someone had made the effort to film the entire game as they played (slightly edited for deaths etc)

I would love some more of this where you watch the entire game as it is meant to be seen by the "perfect" player i.e. John Mclane was playing.

But then some games last for ages son prob need to be a series

Earthsearch. (3 books which expanded on the BBC radio trilogy series by the same author.)

Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan series of books (Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games etc) as a singleplayer RPG with an FPS aspect much like Fallout 3. I think that would be really enjoyable given how engrossing the books are.
 
MMO based on the Drenai and Rigante series of books by David Gemmell. MMO based on the Forgotten Realms with vast open areas to explore.
