Introducing the new Ford Tractorri

front looks alright.. rear is total abortion.. waste of time in my eyes?!? if you want a mustang you buy a 30k mustang not 70k lambo chop it and put mustang "chassis" on.. lol.. the work quality looks good..

Well heres to another few dead americans that built a car that has no ability to turn a corner

Perhaps they think that only by changing the engine will the car suddenly be able to handle

Well its got the Lamborghini wheels and discs + callipers so that means its using the Lamborghini hubs, since the original car is 4wd that means its using the front and rear diffs, looking underneath it looks like its using the Lamborghini Sub frames and suspension setup.

So with the engine in the same position, the sub frames and 4wd system from the Lamborghini, why would this handle like a pig?

Aside from some additional weight if these guys have built it correctly it should be a very competent car indeed.

Right, so you compare a supercharged or turbo mustang to Lambos perfectly tuned creation? And you claim these guys have wasted their time? :o

Why would it make more sense to start with a purpose built design, where is the fun in that? That would have just been an engine conversion, right?

Again, you people are missing the point of this project I think. I'm pretty sure it was done just because they could, to show it could be done, and to do something completely different - not because it was the best choice, logical, easy or cost effective.

Unfortunately the argument of "they did it cos they could" doesn't really hold water. They could just have easily butchered a s/h MR2 and made that look like a buggered up mustang. That would have showed their engineering prowess and cost a shed load less.
As for comparison on engines, nope wasn't trying to suggest that the Ford unit is as good as a VAG v10. My suggestion was that it would have been massively cheaper and still done the job.

The only reason I can think of to do this is to get the old adage of "all press is good press", cos this ain't a good use of time or money.

Was so close to reposting the Mustanghini!

reminds me of this vtec bmw

That's actually not bad at all, was a 318is and the F20C is quite a step up for an "upgrade" @ 250ps.

I suppose for those guys it's pee easy to do such swaps as well.

Tbh gotta give the guy kudos for pulling such an outrageous transplant as that...but then on the other hand why why WHY???...can only hope that the lambo was trashed/written off otherwise what a waste of a £100k...unless he got it cheap.

Wonder how it performs??
