Venture franchising

I usually shy away from websites with the commercial director with a smug grin on his face as the home page  :p

Just read through all the info on the site and it just seems like you have to pay for your own studio then pay them £20K+ for the name then they take 10% turnover

now you see why the commercial director has a smug grin on his face ;)

In all fairness you do get all the buisness training and help/advise on running your own company but wouldn't put £20K+ on it

I wouldn't either. Plenty of things to do with 20k from a business perspective. :)

Although I must have missed the bit where it said 20k because the info in the FAQs about how much money is needed reads:

'You will need to have £30K – 80K (depending on opportunity) of liquid funds and the remaining capital can be borrowed (subject to normal lending requirements) from one of the major lending institutions. We can support you throughout this process.'

Somewhere it says £20K...

We charge an Initial Franchise Fee of £20,000 which covers your initial training and our full support service throughout the purchase of the business or opening of the studio. Thereafter, there is a monthly Franchise Fee (10%) and Marketing Fee (3%) which is calculated as a percentage of business turnover.
