What would you do at this roundabout

I cross a couple like that myself and often stay on the right too. It isn't a problem as there are 2 lanes and no side swiping needs to involved :D.

This one just seems to flummox people because the exit is slightly to the right hand side even though it is the second exit. Don't see what difference that makes myself but ho hum :p.

12 o'clock rule.
That road exits at the 1 o'clock position so technically the right hand lane would be the correct exit imo.

However it's very grey, the other interpretation is that the slip road starts at the 12 o'clock position therefore left hand lane.

Given that, I'd pick whichever lane is shortest/fastest and just be careful for people trying to merge. Never drive alongside someone on a roundabout.

Right lane as the exit isn't directly ahead of you or between your 6oclock and 12oclock. If you had a crash though, more than likely a 50/50 fight.

But none of this matters as I will have Vtec y0 launched through the roundabout ahead of everyone anyway :D

It depends on the signposts. If they show it as straight on then it's left hand lane, if they show it as to the right then right hand lane. Simples.

This is what I was taught. If the sign points at 12 o'clock it's classed as 'straight on' regardless of whether it really is physically or not. Whether I was taught BS or not I don't know :p.

By the time you reach 6.5k rpm or whatever it is my tubby will have spooled up and I will be but a spec in the distance :D.

Hmm the entry, route and exit both have 2 lanes but the exit merges into one lane....we have exactly the same type of roundabout over here and people use both lanes and the drivers in the 2nd lane simply merge in turn at the short stretch on the exit.

It's a tricky one because during busy traffic the left lane drivers will wonder WTF but anyone with half decent driving ability would be able to merge in from the 2nd lane without much of an issue to the drivers in the first lane.

Now the problem occurs when the there's only 1 lane at the exit and quite clearly someone from the 2nd lane swipes in to take the exit on your lane - this has happened to me many times and it's quite annoying!

My boss and I did that a few weeks ago. By christ it was scary! Although strangely enough it was nothing compared to this little monster which you go over before you get to the Arc De Triomphe:

Woah - I knew it was nasty but... no lane markings? Are they insane?
