I am thinking of buying the Linksys WRT320N Router with the WUSB600N USB Adaptor, and was wondering that whilst those two can be connected at 5Ghz, what happens when I connect some Wireless G devices?

Will everything still run at 5Ghz, or will all connected devices run at 2.4Ghz?

After reading another thread in this forum, and posts by mrk, I am now considering the Netgear WNDR3700.

Same question applies though... will Wireless N devices (such as the Netgear WNDA3100) work at 5Ghz, whilst older Wireless G communicate at 2.4Ghz?

So the WRT610N then?

Either. Simultaneous dual-band should do no problem.

The Linksys WRT610N is a ‘true' dual-band draft-n router. This means it can simultaneously broadcast a draft-n signal on both its 2.4GHz and 5GHz radios, in theory doubling its bandwidth. The 5GHz frequency promises better wireless signal strength, range and stability. And in the UK, where 802.11a is rare, this band is free from clutter. If you want, you can reserve the 2.4GHz band purely for 802.11g or b/g/n duties. Naturally, it has four gigabit wired ports as well.
