Sorry man no point BETA ends today!

Thankfully i got to level 11 last nite, least i did as much as i could!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG WE ARE ALMOST HERE!!!!!

I CANT WAIT TO HEAR THE SWEET SOUND OF BF BELTING OUT OF MY SURROUND SOUND ONCE MORE

I just setup 5.1 surround sound in my room.
To have the surround affect. does the game have to support The DTS etc format? is there an True HD format with games like this ?

i take it you use an optical lead from your sound card to your AV Receiver ?

Lol no :eek: i just use built in sound (always sounds as good to me) and just crack it up!
 
I just cancelled my pre-order. There's not really much point owning a game I can barely play on the lowest possible settings. :p

I've got a Radeon 4850, so it's not all bad. ;) But the rest of it is very bad... :p

3800X2 and 2GB DDR, yes, just DDR :'( It's so annoying as when I built it, I bought a 7800GTX on the week of it's release and no one could touch me. Oh how times change. :p

I'd have thought you'd be able to play it with that setup. Is your CPU overclocked at all?

Obviously yeah, you'll be looking at quite low settings...but it should be (just about) playable.
 
I had it clocked to 2.8GHz stable, with my previous motherboard. But for some reason (even with the most recent bios), my current motherboard refuses to let me overclock at all...

I was getting ~15fps with everything on low, 0xAA at, wait for it..... 1024x768! :p

Can you upgrade? DDR2/3 is realy cheap to buy these days and if your mobo cant handle it get a 2nd hand one from the members market! Just say what your trying to do and i'm sure the guys can offer you kit.

Lol..that's not good :/

Was that before the later patch to the beta that improved dual core performance? (was around a week or so ago).
