Code for Mondeo Stereo

Hi all,

My girlfriend recently bought me a car stereo which I think I'm going to have to send back due to poor sound quality (it's a Salamander S6000 incase anyone has heard of it or got one)...

So I want to put my Ford Stereo back in but obviously it requires me to put the code in which I don't know.

There's a big thread over at moneysavingexpert where you can ask for it (which I have done) but I don't know how long it will be before anyone replies and wondered if I ask here as well I might get it quicker...

If any of you are able to do this for me the serial number is M047143 (ford mondeo mk3 2001)

there are lots of websites that will do this for you for a minimal fee, i've bought a code for an old Rover 200 i had years ago. Think it cost me £4 and was worth it for the lack of hassle.
 
rofl silly me i've found it in the audio guide manual which came with the car when purchased. that'll teach me for being so cynical of myself!!
 
I used to have an app for this. It's on my old machine.

Handy to have though, I'll see if I can get it again.

In short, an entry level Pioneer or Alpine that you like the look of. Avoid Sony, Kenwood and JVC.
 
Erm 6000CD out of a 56 ford transit connect, its the new version ... (so non rounded edges)

Tried that mate and it didnt work ...
