BC2 BETA... Your thoughts and SCREENSHOTS of it

I only got to play it yesterday, so all of my experience was built up from that.

I would like to upgrade, but I'm not really in the financial position to do so at the moment. I've been looking at some systems on OcUK, and it's insane how 'cheap' a system that's about ten times better than mine is now. :p

3200 X2 / 8800GT on the 2nd PC here, the performance patch did nothing for it, was a complete slideshow before, a stuttery slideshow after. My E6600 got huge gains from it however.

Ah right. I'm surprised it was as bad as that on those. I didn't realise that the lower end c2d cpus are that much better (my spare pc is running a 6420 @ ~2.5ghz). My main pc is dual core too, but @4ghz it didn't have any issues before or after the patch.
 
Yeah the dual core A64s were good in their day but when C2D came it kind of made them look stupid - so a few years on top of that and a particularly CPU intensive game and they fall down the stairs and break a hip.
 
OMFG

Downloaded the BETA lastnight and got it installed and ready to go at 12am this morning. Signed in with my key and couldnt do anything else it just kept freezing when i clicked join......you could still sign up for the BETA yesterday at 11pm....

Anyone know how to cancel the email crap they send you after you sign up for the BETA?

EA...DO ONE!
