So I have a recent obsession with modern warfare.....fiction is acceptable but what really has me fascinated are non-fiction first-hand accounts of things.

Seen:
The Hurt Locker
Battle for Haditha
Jarhead
Black Hawk Down
The Unit (series)
Generation Kill (series)

Read:
Sniper One - Dan Mills
Inside Delta Force - Eric Haney
A Bomb in my Garden - Mahdi Obeidi
Operation Snake Bite - Stephen Grey

Any other recommendations?

damnit I've seen that one too. Perhaps I should ask for books as I've probably seen most of the films/series?

*edit* actually thanks for that suggestion, I think I'll grab the book and watch the film again :)

If you want a really good read, I'd highly recommend 'Fiasco' by Thomas E. Ricks. Brilliant account of the unravelling of the Iraq war.

Someone mentioned it but 'Over There' is an awesome series, accompanied by a good soundtrack :P. I don't think it did very well rating wise but give it a chance, in 2-3 episodes I loved it.
