Hi

Looking for advice here.

Purchased a PSU off someone on the MM market just under 3 weeks ago. Paid for on the 10th and still no PSU in sight.

Stupidly i have blundered myself in a few ways. I deleted the first email with there username on,the only details i have are there first name and surname and there email address. I didnt get there address as the PSU they offered me was the exact same one as the 1st reply to my thread and i assumed it was the same person. I have been in touch with the user who replied to my thread and its not them.

All i was waiting on to assemble my new I5 setup was a PSU and i think because i was in such a rush to get one i've not been as careful as usual.

How much longer should i give this person. When in the process of arranging to buy the PSu they replied back to my emails very quickly. In the last 17 days or so since payment i've had 2 replies. The first reply came after 10 days saying he admits he has not sent it yet. I then got a reply this Monday gone saying he had sent it before the weekend 2nd class.

I've asked him to confirm where hes sent it to and if hes got a tracking number but to these questions i get no reply at all.
Also he asked me to pay via paypal gift so im thinking im truly screwed here?

I have now today bought another psu as ive had no pc for 3 weeks.

If it turns up at any point i will sell a PSU but how long should i wait before i go any further and is there anything i can do?

Many thanks in advance.
Gaz

No its not goldfinger, hes who i purchased the 2nd one off. Have his full name address etc. :)

I bought a corsair 620 PSU off someone in a thread i started about 3 weeks ago.

It looks like Tute from a thread I found:

PSU purchased from Tute, thread closed. Thanks everyone for your offers :)

I'd say that there's close to zero chance that Tute would try and screw you over, assuming it's him you purchased from, obviously.

It looks as if he has been very slow in sending the PSU, but I do not think he has screwed you over. Hopefully it turns up soon.

Its not Tute, literally minutes after Tutes post i got an email from someone selling the exact same PSU as Tute thats why i thought it was his email i had but when i contact him about its whereabouts Tute has a totally different name and email address.

Just my luck the one time i clear out my emails i accidently delete the original email from the person who i purchased it off thus not knowing his username.

I have also emailed them saying if it is not here by Monday i want a refund and if it ever turns up i will post it back
