The driver and passenger are both dead so RIP The buyer of the 106 was in the passenger seat (Gav) while the owner of the 106 was driving it like a tool at 100MPH and crashed into a parked car with the passenger side taking the impact hence the instant death, the driver passed away in hospital it seems. Such a tragic loss.

Reading the post on the Saxo forums a few have being told the driver died in Hospital but the news stories say otherwise so wasn’t sure of the whole situation. If the driver has survived well I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes at all.

News paper articles were probably printed yesterday/early this morning so the driver could well of passed away since then, i'd be inclined to take what people are saying on the saxo forums as truth.

The car was not fit for the road it seems? Loads of post about the state of the 106 a few was saying the real coilover was damaged too and that the engine was hanging out of the engine bay!!
