Watching it on freesat here and it looks great. Infact the best i have seen on a 40" Plasma

Are you on cable, Freeview, terrestrial or Sky - and which transmitter ? It all makes a big difference - as they all have different transmission methods and compression standards. Sky SD is poor, Freeview is slightly better, Virgin rubbish, Terrestrial OK - If you want it top class - get the blu-ray.

The Blu-ray is perfect. ITV2 is showing it properly... no VHS quality there
