In an ideal world... What is your next car?

I love my Z4MR and can't really see myself changing for a long time. Given that, my next car probably doesn't exist yet as it might be as far out as 2015 before I change. At that point it would be something a couple of years old and, assuming circumstances don't radically change, then something else where the roof comes down and it goes like stink. Perhaps a 2012 model 911.

no they dont, they all agree to say on paper they have 276bhp but its a well known fact that the supra normally makes 310-320bhp, the skyline makes 300-315bhp, the 300zx makes 305-310bhp, 3000gt makes about 320bhp

Just because theres an agreement doesnt mean its held to the exact detail, most 99spec rx7s dont make 280bhp, only about 265bhp for example.

I would have thought with you being into jap cars that you would have known that simple myth along time ago

Do you really think they are gonna tune the ignition, fueling and boost to get exactly 276bhp for each manufacture.

When you have best motoring thrashing the guts out of them on track to find which ones best, they arnt gonna go, ill happily be 100kg heavier than my rivals but stay the same power so im slower

Thank you :)

Either a E91 330i or 335i. Bit of a difference in price so it depends how much I want to ***** at the time.

Was just about to post something pretty much the same. Think you told it better than I could have lol.

Cheaper realistic car, Mk3 MX5 2.0 sport

Cars I really want but not sure on being able to afford running costs comfortably

350z, Z4, S2000

A6 of some kind, I want something comfier for the amount of motorways i've been doing lately. 2.0TDI to keep within the epic fuel mileage i've been achieving lately.
And cruise control is a must.

or an Escort RS Cosworth :)

My choice will be dictated by the next house purchase. If I forgo the bigger house it will be a 997 c4s as I'm a bit porsche daft.

If the larger house becomes the priority, then it'll be an Alpina E92 B3 bi-turbo. Not as nice as the M3 perhaps, but a little different and easier to live with.

I think I am sure what car I am going for next, but in an ideal world I would love to have a C6 Corvette or a VXR8, something with a V8 in it. Failing that, a Lotus Exige would take my fancy, but I don't think I could track it enough to make it worthwhile.
