Asus M4A785TD-V EVO + Phenom II X3 720BE

Please can somebody tell me if these two components are compatible?

I've checked the Asus website, and apparently the mobo will need to be built on a specific PCB. I would be buying both items from OcUK.

well ive just got this board and nothing but trouble,everytime i boot its pot luck if the sound will come on if not have to reboot everytime,same for my mouse and i cant get my crossfire to work but that might be something else

You have a Asus M4A79XTD Evo whereas the OP is looking at an Asus M4A785TD-V EVO. The latter cannot do Crossfire.

Perhaps you need to RMA your motherboard. I assume that you have tried updating the BIOS to the latest stable version??
