Check my crysis " still the most demanding game on PC " bench results out, thats just brutal power right there.

5850 is well better than a 275 even at stock but most 5850's can do well over 900 on the core and then it decimates the 275. I had a GTX 260 that was well overclocked beating most stock 275's, went to a 5870 and really it blows the 275 away for performance and image quality, and it's very easy to get 5870 performance out of a 5850. I can average 50-60 FPS on the first level in crysis on max settings, 275 would die on it's ass.
Hmm, well still not convienced lol. That chart from straxusii ^^ is pretty good, but can i really justify £200 + on a card, especially when fermi is round the courner, not too bothered who i buy but i will be a little annoyed if today i got a 5857/50 and in a month £100 has been knocked off to compete
8xAA, crysis brutalized.![]()

Certainly don't bother with a 5850, 5870 or 5890 to get a decent jump
Isn't anything above 4xAA in the Crysis bench broken? It just defaults to 4xAA iirc.
