Hi all

Odd one this. What is it about a toilet that makes one £58, and another £300? I know the quality of the plastic seat would come into this, but that can usually be easily replaced. Is there anything else that justifies the massive price difference, or is it all just down to style?

Thanks

Michael.

I'd like to think that the £300 bog comes with a flushing system that actually works, unlike the Made in China ones that break after 6 weeks

I think it read somewhere a toilet's flush is in the key of F# :p
No mate that's American car horns.

O.P.
I re fitted me bathroom maybe 6 months ago & bought ghetto as Always. All you need do is finish it off with a decent seat & you'll Crap in style.

If they come with Heated seats I may consider getting my three hundred out.

Is no-one interested in comfort??

I read somewhere that for the average British male who llives to the age of 76, he clocks up 3 years going to the toilet.

Having looked at the tiny modern loos that seem to be in fashion these days, If you are going to spend 3 years of you life sitting on the damn thing, it'd better be comfortable.

Go into your local showroom, find one you like the look of, drop your kegs, sit down and crack one out - how else will you make the right purchase?

I'm sure Dom Jolly did this once on Triggerhappy TV.

Saw that on Jackass once :p

More on topic, I would asume the flush mechanics play a reasonable part in the price, along with build quailty and the strength of the parts, as with anything really. Of course then you get the really stupid designer stuff at like £3000, but thats a whole other argument.
