Would you put a publication in a CV

Lets say you work in IT, and you've published a journal which is featured in "The UK Society of IT".

Would you mention this in your CV?

I have all my publications in my CV. The one of the major selling points in my opinion. Caveat though I don't work in IT.

Yes, I mention my photographs being published even though it is a hobby, CV is to sell yourself, so, sell yourself.

Absolutely. In artworking related CVs I namedrop companies that I've done artwork for if they're well known, even though I wasn't working directly for them, I was working for a company that did some of their artwork.
