Laptop was just stolen at the airport

remindeds me of a bag of dvds i found outside my dads work i took em home and some were games but some were some home made stuff lol!
 
Keep an eye out on eBay, if you aren't already. Might be a long shot, but there are plenty of incidents over the years where people have found their stolen gear on eBay. The tricky part is getting the serial number as I would probably be suspicious if a buyer asked me that.

Not that I sell stolen laptops on eBay or anything.

Sorry for your double loss there. This is a timely reminder of the importance of data encryption for the rest of us who regularly travel with laptops. I wish MS would include the bitlocker stuff in all versions of their OS.

Any suggestions as to what can be done to encrypt a folder of files within an existing install of Win 7 HP for a reasonable cost?
