Ikea bulbs

Well, I say Ikea because it's the only place I've seen these bulbs:

I needed two without the hassle of driving 30 miles to and from Ikea.

Does anyone know if any of the larger DIY chains stock this particular bulb? I've checked a few websites but unfortunately there's none listed.

It looks like the same bulb I used in my old kitchen under lights and I bought replacement bulbs from Sainsburys.

Looks like the bulb in my lamp. Comes in 5, 10 or 20w. I use the 5w version. B&Q do them.

Yup, these are called halogen capsules. I just bought replacement capsule bulbs from Wilkinsons.

You can get them in Tesco, I've got the same lamps as you do, got 2 of them for £1.

Asda also do them, and others have said Sainsbury's, so I'd assume most major super markets do them.

They're little halogen bulbs.

Ever looked closely at a halogen spotlight? They're basically the same except in a large glass shell.
