Arrow Video will be dropping Romero's classic Day of the Dead onto Blu-ray in the UK at the end of March! My review of the pack can be read here.

Does anyone love this flick as much as I do? The special effects really haven't been surpassed in any capacity since. As my review mentioned, the physical extras weren't included in the press pack so I'm actually really looking forward to buying this!

Nice package, nice review too. I got the region one Dimimax version or whatever it's called, and I never double dip.. even if it is one of my all time fave films. Well maybe if I get around to getting a blu ray player :) Does this release still have the same audio problems found on the dvd (ie replaced audio)?

Oh yeah, those arrow covers are truely awful. I prefer the old EV one though...just not with half of it devoted to the distributor. But at least they didn't fill them up with review quotes - which if that was a EV release these days, would have been :)

It was okay from what i remember. A shame George A. Romero didn't have a big enough budget to make the film he wanted to make.

That was pretty much the story of his film career.

Although I can't say I liked Day that much I think I may get this just for the extras.

I like the sound of that. :D

No, you don't. I think he's actually talking about Steve Miner's dreadful "remake" that was on TV a couple of weeks ago! :D

If you wanna really see as close to Left 4 Dead: The Movie as you'll get until an official one, check out the French zombie flick "La Horde". Dunno off the top of my head when that's getting a proper UK release, though.

That remake was beyond dreadful and if you want the L4D look then can't beat 28 series for that particularly the second one.
