I would guess that it's done by modding a bow, rather than the arrows: AFAIK damage is a combination of both. It has just been changed with the CS to deal colossal damage. It's easy to do yourself: I've modded all the two-handed weapons damages slightly to make them worth using for instance.

Is there a mod about that changes the experience gain to make them worth using? There's nothing more bitchin' than 2h-weapons (I had Cloud's buster sword for a while, but it looked a bit pants), but the skill progression is still based on per-hit rather than damage, which is lame for the slower weapons.

Again, you can do it yourself with the CS: I've modded my game to slightly increase the experience with magic use as another example.

OK, I had a little play. Yes, you can get the effect but upping the damage figure for either bows or arrows, as the total damage done to the target is affected by both. But:

a) The wear and tear to the bow is a function of the damage it does, so if you mod the bow then it will break first shot unless you mod the health of the bow as well.

b) You need to boost the damage to a huge figure: probably in excess of 10,000. 100,000 might be a place to start. With both bow and arrows set at 1000 damage, which my poor archery dropped to 252 each, a person only flies about six feet when hit. Still insta-kill though, so the guards don't notice if their backs are turned.

What on earth are jedward doing in Oblivion? :P

There are mods that change the game to level magic attributes based on the cost of the spell rather than just an arbitrary x points for everything. I'm sure there was 1 that did similar with weapons. Doesn't matter atm, i decided to try out the Oblivion XP mod and its pretty sweet, not having to think about levelling skills individually.

And now that you mention it, Jedwards fashion model is revealed indeed....
