I am just about to put some new RAM in my system and was just wanting to confirm something.
It the DDR2 Kingston Hyper-X 2x2gb kit details below-
KHX8500D2K2/4G 4GB DDR2 1066MHz Non-ECC CL5
5-5-5-15
2.2-2.3V
I gather that my BIOS will have to be manually adjusted to these values, not done this before so I'm a little wary of doing this! Do I just set it to those values straight away in the BIOS?
ie, 2.2v, 5-5-5-15 timings and 1066mhz.
I don't need to up the voltage in increments as if o/cing a cpu or gpu?
I apologise if this is an obvious question, just don't want to wreck it!
