Hi guys, just getting used to my new build and I've just noiced that it's saying I've only got 2818Mb out of the 4gig of RAM installed usable. The interesting thing is that when I go to the nVidia control panel, where it says total available graphics memory it says 2301Mb but I've only got a 512Mb 9800GT. Whats going on? I thought 64bit Windows 7 could use all 4 gig plus the 512 video memory too? My system spec is in my sig. Any help will be grately appreciated. Cheers

you have too much shared memory set to your video cards,
try setting it so your shared video memory comes from your virtual ram not your physical ram.

Either read your Motherboard manual or try a BIOS update. If you have done both of these then it is either not there or you cant find it :(

I've just read through it online.... nowt in the bios section about allocation of RAM to video card. Most likely a setting in your Nvidia control panel somewhere. You'll just have to hunt about the different settings pages until you find it I'm afraid. I have ATI fitted so can'y be more helpful than that bro :(
