I'm sorry, the new XJ is just ugly, it doesn't look at all right. Anybody agree?

Supposed to be a very good car though.

The way the headlights seems to narrow inwards to a point halfway down the grille looks weird from this angle.

Doesn't look as bad in other pictures.

It does give it a very "heavy set" appearance from the front. Reminds me a bit of those large Yank trucks from the front.

Side shape is nice :)

Front end... not so sure. Has a squinty-eyed look to it.

Rear end - think Chrysler Neon. Bad look to go for :(

Just doesn't look like an XJ, whereas every other XJ looked like an XJ (if that makes any sense)

This just looks like a giant XF, and has lost its "jagness". The appeal of the XJ to me was how it looked, large, stately, prestigious, the new one just looks naff :(

It looks rather odd! Absolutely hate the HUGE grilles that new cars are designed with, I'm guessing that's due to safety regs?

What's going on with the rear pillar?

I like it, I'm a big XJ fan anyway but this doesn't dissapoint, the interior is fantastic too.

In those wheels and that colour it looks a bit odd, give it a darker colour and it works much better.

Only seen one on the road and that was a while ago, but it looked fantastic.

I'm seeing all sorts of cars when I look at it from the back. I think it looks alright, will look better in person/a darker colour. Looks a bit too fat though..

They had one you could sit in and look around recently along with an XF in the Westfield shopping centre in London. I was unsure on the looks when looking at pictures but in the flesh it's a fantastic looking machine inside and out.

Not a fan of the new shape to be honest, a friend of mine has the previous shape in black, is only a diesel model but boy does it look mean.

For the new, design wise the front end doesn't match the back end.
