This isn't the first time this has happened, past few weeks I've found Dr Oetker Bistro Baguette's from Iceland, but suddenly they disappeared, the sold well because there was always hardly any left when I came to buy some. For the past week there's been none at all and the price tag has been removed too.

I asked an assistant who said they were a special promotion and won't be getting any more.

Why the **** not? I can't get them from anywhere else either, Tesco and ASDA don't seem to do them :(

A big V goes to Iceland. Swines :(

Well they put a stop to them pink brick things from Greggs that were covered in coconut, used to buy them in bulk whenever I was there.

Morrisons used to do a big tray of cream sponges with jam about the side of a custard cream - they were beautiful. Went back to buy loads more and they had stopped doing them... :(

Has anyone noticed that they have stopped selling normal bottle of Yops and replaced them with smaller bottles. Yes they are 99p but they were normally buy one get one free at less than £2 and were much bigger.

I used to have a Yop a day, not any more,

Tesco used to do the best doughnuts ever. Was basically chocolate doughnut with a chocolate filling and chocolate icing with chocolate sprinkled on the top. Rather than being doughnut shaped though, they were like a doughnut log. Used to come in plastic boxes as a pair. Loved them, but they only did them for like 6 months. :(

you still had 6 months of goodness though :p

I'm surprised nobody has noticed how they Introduce new products & then Gradually make the location smaller & put there Own Brand version in it's place.

Supermarkets are Evil but nobody will notice until it's to late. :(

Morrisons sell them, they are really greasy though, the base is like fried bread. :o

Thanks I'll have to have a look for them next time I'm near a Morrisons.

Except their own product is nothing like that it replaces, also, Iceland at one point discontinued a product very similar to the Bistro things I'm asking about, then denied all knowledge they existed. Idiots!

This is quite common, a lot of products will be reduced in size rather than increasing the cost. They usually come in with some great offer, but as soon as that finishes, you realise it's back to the original price, but smaller.
