Stuck between 45-60 sit ups

45 to get in which i can do. But thats beside the point.

I dont want to just get in i want to smash the test :D

Also one of the girls i train with can get 120. And im competitive and need to beat her :p

girls have waaaaay less body mass up top compared to guys so sit ups are a lot easier for them.

if you want to beat her shed all your upper body muscle =P
 
Stop counting the reps so much, quite often it's a mental thing where if you are getting close to your 'mind limit' you will start to feel that it's harder than it really is.

If you must count then just count to 10 and start again, seemed to work for me.
 
crikey thats a lot of sit ups. I wouldn't worry too much about being able to smash their records, 65 situps is plenty unless your going for the marines!
 
Although 4 days rest? Surely recovery wont take that long?

It depends on your training philosophy I suppose. I got passed on to me with 4 day rest period to ensure maximum recovery. Like everything to do with training it all depends on personal habits/philosophy
