Corsair H50 vs thermalright Venomous X vs ThermoLab Baram?

any recommendations?
thinking of i7 930 and having Akasa Apache 120mm fan on them

Thats what I am planning on getting as well I would also like peoples opinions on those 3 cooling products. The Thermalright VX looks the most promising so far.

I just bought the Baram for my Phenom 2 build. The Venomous X may be better, but the thermolab was 29.99 shipped :) Better bang/buck IMO

Ive got the sunbeam artic freezer (or something like that) from ocuk, previously I had a thermalright ultra, which i thought was totally over rated as they didnt even have a flat surface for mounting.

i get a good 10 degrees less temps with my q6600 clocked to 3.6 all silent on air and the fans on about 20%

they were only £25 and single fan barely moving!, I think these new mini loops are over rated

I think both thermalright Venomous X & ThermoLab Baram are better than the h-50 and that the Venomous is slightly better than the baram (though I guess only by a small margin). I agree with gurusan baram is good and cheap.

The review above shows the margin being them is about 6 degrees with the same fan configuration.

But I agree, the Thermolab Baram is a bargain. It's a shame people don't seem to consider it because it's better than the Noctua NH-U12P and the Prolimatech.

I have the H50-1 and mod it and got this temps

Khemist, is that i5 OC stable on 1.25V? That voltage is so low, amazing OC. I could only get my i7 860 oc @ 4.0 stable at 1.37V

as said before, the baram is an amazing cooler for the price, i have it on my phenom 2 955be. but if price is not a problem then go with the vx

I got the Baram myself which was a decent step up from the stock cooler on my i7 920. For its price, it is hard to beat on value.

VenomousX on the other hand seems to have a better design, I especially like the pressure adjustment screw on its base. It also seems to post better temperatures with overclocked kit.

Just some info some may find useful. I emailed thermalright about a possible black venomous x, they said it was being worked on but had no release date details
