High milage clios

Hi guys

looking to buy my gf a clio the facelift one 2001-2006

probably a 1.2 8v or 16v

ive seen a really nice one in the colour she wants ect looks mint but its done 118,000

can these tiny engine take the miles? if it was a mondeo or a bmw i wouldnt be bothered but a 1.2 with over 100k on it? even with FSH?

If it's been properly maintained and there is nothing wrong with the car, there's not really a valid reason why it won't be as reliable as one with 60k on it.
Obviously with the higher mileage car depending on how the car has been driven there might be signs or wear on components and some components are likely to need renewing unless they already have been renewed.

Any advert that says 'mint' in it is being sold by a ***** and the car has scratches all over it
