Boy develops fish scales

Is this a similar skin disease the wonderfully funny chap from the North East suffered from and featured in a Channel 4 documentary a few years back, "The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off".

I feel for those that have these nasty skin diseases, I moan about my eczema, but that is nothing compared to what these people go through.

hmm I remember the story about this bloke he was on extrodinary people that show on channle 5 ... at the end of the episode it was said he refused treatment.
 
I always wonder who suffers more, the child or the parent...

He doesnt know any different surely?

i think that's because it's painful and it will grow back anyway.

he was "trimmed" so he could function better but all the little pieces where left.
 
poor wee lad :(

is it just me or am i hearing a lot about dodgy genetic conditions in china that the papers choose to report on in the last few years?
